Before you choose Suspension
Lower is not automatically better. Spring rate, damping, sway bars, alignment range, and tire choice need to work together so the car turns in cleanly without becoming miserable on the street.
Define how the car is used
Daily street miles, rough roads, autocross, and full track sessions call for different spring rates, damping, travel, and adjustment.
Lower is not free
Ride height changes travel, alignment, roll centers, axle angles, and tire clearance. The car still needs enough room to work.
Plan the alignment
Check damper condition, top mounts, adjustment range, wheel and tire clearance, bump stops, and the alignment the car will need afterward.
