Before you choose Exterior
Decide whether the goal is fit and finish, lower weight, or functional aero. A splitter, diffuser, or wing only works as designed when it is mounted correctly and balanced with the rest of the car.
Decide the actual goal
Fit and finish, lower weight, appearance, and functional aero are different goals. The material and mounting should follow the goal.
The install is part of the part
Body pieces may need test fitting, adjustment, surface work, paint, and freight handling. Functional aero also needs structural support.
Verify body and mounting
Check chassis, year, body style, trim, material, finish, mounting points, ground clearance, and who will handle prep or paint.
